Day 1-3 

Take Spice Jet flight SG2871 from Delhi to Jabalpur (flight time 1 hr 50mins) then a private transfer to Bandhavgarh National Park (approx. 4hrs)

Bandhavgarh National Park

An essential stop on any serious tiger safari, Bandhavgarh National Park is renowned for one of India’s highest concentrations of this magnificent animal.

A relatively small park with a thriving tiger population, it offers guests a good chance of encountering the king of the jungle, as well as a selection of other exotic wildlife.

Explore this magnificent destination on morning and afternoon game drives.

Accommodation: Private cottage at Mahua Kothi (an &Beyond & Taj Group property)

Mahua Kothi or homestead is named after the Mahua tree which is prized and revered 

in the region. 12 standalone luxury cottages blend into a 45-acre private forest on the periphery of the national park. The guest area overlooks a large grassland where monkeys and birds in vivid colours are a regular feature. The mud cottages or ‘Kutiyas’ are built in the local style of architecture. A bean shaped pool screened by a bamboo thicket and shaded by Mahua trees is perfect for cooling off at midday. 

Day 4-6: 

After breakfast, we drive to Kanha, a distance of 160 kms (approx. 4 hrs)

Kanha National Park

Move on to Kanha National Park, one of the first areas to be protected under Project Tiger, aimed at preserving this magnificent animal.

Kanha is a renowned and picturesque conservation area that boasts the ideal habitat for both tigers and their prey species.        

                       

Explore the sal and bamboo forests of Kanha on twice-daily game drives accompanied by a trained naturalist, who will point out and explain details about the fascinating animals and plants of the jungle.

Accommodation: Private cottage at Banjaar Tola (an &Beyond & Taj Group property)

This safari lodge is situated along the banks of the Banjaar River overlooking the heart of Kanha National Park. Two intimate camps of nine tents each are built on the banks of the still river overlooking the national park. Each elegant camp boasts its own pool with outdoor as well as indoor lounge options

After breakfast we transfer you to Jabalpur Airport, a distance of 160kms (approx. 4 hrs) for your Spice Jet flight SG-2642.  ETD 4.30pm  ETA in Delhi 6.40pm (flight time 2hrs 10mins)
