Brinkley Resort is recognised as a high country self-contained accommodation style resort situated in the alpine heartland village of Methven at the foothills of majestic Mt Hutt. The resort is serviced by twelve ski fields as well as direct heli ski activities from their on-site heli pad. The closest mountain is the world-renowned Mt Hutt Ski Field, which boasts one of New Zealand's biggest ski areas and some of the longest vertical drops in the South Island. Other nearby ski fields with excellent natural snow include Porters, Mt Dobson, Ohau, Round Hill, Tasman Glacier, Broken River, Methven Heli Ski, Mt Lyford, Craigieburn, Mt Cheeseman, Mt Olympus, and Temple Basin.

Day 1 Arrive Christchurch
On arrival into Christchurch collect your rental car and drive to Methven (approximately 1 hour drive). The remainder of the day is free to explore this super friendly town.
Day 2 & 3 Ski or Snowboard Mt Hutt
Hit the slopes for 2 days of skiing or boarding magical Mt Hutt.
Day 4 Depart Methven
The morning is at leisure before your drive back to Christchurch to return your rental car before your onward flight.
