Holi 2020 - Celebrate the victory of good over evil

Day 1:  Monday 22nd March You will be met by an Out in India representative at Delhi International Airport and escorted to your hotel, the 5* Le Meridien

 

Day 2: Tuesday 23rd March After breakfast we will explore Old & New Delhi with a heritage walk and then a rickshaw ride through old markets,  We also explore to The India Gate & Connaught Place.  Overnight Le Meridien.

Day 3: Wednesday 24th March In the morning we drive to Agra (200 kms/approx. 4hrs) and on the way we enjoy Holi celebration at Nandgaon.  The celebrations are filled with colour and much fun.  In the afternoon we should head to see the Taj Mahal at sunset, before making it to the 5* ITC Mughal where you have the evening at leisure.

Day 4: Thursday 25th March This morning we’ll visit locations to view the Taj Mahal (which is closed on Fridays), before heading to the Agra Fort, steeped in mesmerising stories of the Emperor Shah Jahan.

In the afternoon we’ll drive to Jaipur In the afternoon, we drive to Jaipur. (260kms/approx. 6hrs).  Jaipur is the only city in the world symbolising the nine divisions on the Universe.  Overnight at the 5* ITC Rajputana

Day 5: Friday 26th March After a leisurely breakfast we drive to the Amber Fort, via the stunning Palace of Winds for a photo capture.  This place vibrates with its legendary past.  We also visit the City Palace, a delightful blend of Mughal & traditional Rajasthani architecture.  Then another bicycle rickshaw ride, this time through the colourful bazaar & the infamous pink homes of Jaipur.  Overnight at the 5* ITC Rajputana.

Day 6: Saturday 27th March  This morning we drive to the small town of Deogarh (145kms/approx. 3hrs) where you’ll check in to the heritage Deogarh Mahal hotel.  Later we will enjoy walking and a Jeep safari through the local village and visit a cave temple, before ending by the 

lake side for sunset refreshments.  Tonight you’ll enjoy a cooking demonstration and dinner at your hotel.

Day 7: Sunday 28th March This morning we head the 135kms (approx. 3hrs) to the “Venice of the East”, the “Most Romantic City of India”: Udaipur, where we’ll visit the City Palace and have a boat ride on Lake Pichola***.  This evening enjoy the magnificent Holi ka Dehan ceremony at the City Palace with refreshments.  Overnight at 5* The Trident.

Day 8: Monday 29th March This morning we provide you with the Indian kurta pajama to proceed to celebrate Holi, the Festival of Colours.  Overnight at the 5* The Trident.

Day 9: Tuesday 30th March After breakfast and check-out we transfer you to the airport for your Air India flight, AI472, to Delhi.  ETD 3pm ETD 4pm and end of your Out in India services
